A long Time Ago, No so Far Away…
It all started long ago on a dark November night when a little girl first laid eyes on a sleeping baby fresh from the hospital, wrapped tightly in blankets. What followed was a blossoming friendship that has spanned decades.
Growing up, Ashley and Elijah couldn’t have been more different—Ashley with her affinity for all things musical and artistic, and Eli with his passion for sports and competitive athleticism, but that didn’t stop them from supporting one another. Ashley was often cheering for Eli in the stands at his ball games, while Eli often boasted to his friends about his sister’s artistic endeavors. Back then they never would have guessed that one day they would combine forces and talents to go into business together, especially with Ashley majoring in art in college, and Eli going into sports medicine.
Two Siblings, Two Very Different Paths
It was during college Ashley started working as a web designer, taking computer technology classes whenever she could fit them around her major. She soon graduated Magnum Cum Laude in Integrated Studio Art, and while she found success as a book cover illustrator and concept artist, web design remained a second love. After working for several marketing companies over the years, she absorbed as much as she could, eventually ascending through the ranks until she headed the marketing department at her last job. While she enjoyed what she did, she always felt something was missing.
Eli excelled in sports, getting a full-ride scholarship to play college ball for UGA. While there, he majored in sports medicine, but his athletic dreams were cut short by a health scare that forced him on the bench. With his future plans officially derailed, he took a desk job and somehow ended up being thrust into the marketing department. While he felt a bit like a fish out of water at first, it wasn’t long before he mastered everything thrown at him and discovered his penchant for all things business related. The CEO took notice, and soon he was running several businesses for his parent company, even starting some from the ground up. And while he thrived, he always new he wanted to forge out on his own and start his own company.
Until One Day…
Over the years, Ashley and Eli would talk about their similar jobs, and even threw out the occasional “what-ifs” with conversations about starting a business together, but it wasn’t until the end of 2021 that the pieces finally fell into place. With both of them ready for a fresh start, they took the plunge, left their jobs, and decided to start on a new adventure together. With Eli’s business experience, and Ashley’s experience as a marketing director, they knew they had all the pieces needed to start something truly special. And thus AdVenture Pro was born.
